The Nobel Prize was awarded to women 66 times. The first female laureate was Maria Sklodovskaya-Curie, she was awarded the Nobel Prize twice - in physics (1903) and chemistry (1911). Despite the fact that men are more likely to become laureates of the prize, there is not a single nomination where there would not be a female representative.
